Obsolete 0914 - 1001 Eligibility for Other Medicaid Programs

Effective Date: January 1, 2014 - August 31, 2014

A person who qualifies for a Medicaid program without a spenddown or MWI premium is not eligible for UPP. Determine if the applicant qualifies for Medicaid before considering UPP eligibility. If it is clear that the individual does not qualify for any other Medicaid program, only require verification that is necessary to determine eligibility for UPP.
