1. This section explains Medicaid programs for:

• The Aged, Blind, and Disabled.

• Medicare Cost-Sharing.

• SSI Recipients.

• Protected Medicaid Groups.

• Families, Children and Pregnant Women.

• Nursing Home residents and Home and Community Based waiver participants.  

• Women with breast or cervical cancer.

• People who have TB.

• Refugees.

2. Individuals must meet the criteria under one of the following categories of coverage to receive assistance under Medicaid.  The categories of coverage are as follows:

• Aged (persons 65 and older) (302)

• Blind or Disabled (303)

• A parent or caretaker relative caring for a dependent child  (340)

• A child under age 19  (350)

• A pregnant woman  (360)

• A woman with breast or cervical cancer  (390)

• A person with tuberculosis  (392)

• A refugee  (394)
