Trust Funds: earnings, interest or dividends. The earnings or interest received by the trust on trust assets does not count as income when paid into the trust. However, some payments from trusts to the client will count as income. See Sections 401-3 and 512 on trusts to determine whether there is any trust income that must be counted.
