An asset is available when the client owns it, or has the legal right to sell it or dispose of it for his own benefit. If the asset is not physically available to the client, or if the client does not know where the asset can be located, it may be considered unavailable. For example, if a vehicle belongs to the client, but he/she cannot locate the vehicle, it may be considered unavailable. The following sections go over when an asset is available or not available to the client.
